The 3rd Annual Meeting of IMMUTOL was hosted and organised by INN-Acta in Siena, Italy, between 20th and 21st of May 2026.
The meeting provided a valuable opportunity for in-person discussions, sharing results, and planning future activities during dedicated brainstorming sessions. It also served to prepare for the reporting and review meeting. A significant aspect of the event was a session focused on expert patients, who participated through collaboration with the European Multiple Sclerosis Platform (EMSP).
The meeting reinforced our connections and commitment within the consortium to advance knowledge and fast-track the development and validation of an advanced therapeutic medicinal product based on optimised Vitamin D3 (VitD3)-modified tolerogenic dendritic cells to treat patients with immune-mediated diseases, in particular Multiple Sclerosis.
Thanks to all partners, advisory board members, EMPS representatives, and expert patients for their dedication and contributions, and to the organiser for facilitating the meeting and warmly welcoming the IMMUTOL consortium to Siena.
