Several researchers participated in the 17th International Symposium on Dendritic Cells 2024 (DC2024), organized in Sitges, Barcelona, Spain between 20-23 October 2024.

  • Dr. Sara Fuentelsaz Romero, from IQS team, presented her work on development of a 3D model of the Blood Brain Barrier, which is a fundamental tool for investigating the extravasation of immune cells in neuroinflammation.
  • PhD student Gloria Giacomello, from FTELE/OSR team, presented her work related to her research on the f innovative treatments for autoimmune diseases.
  • PhD student Alex Agúndez Moreno, from IGTP team, presented his work focused on preclinical studies exploring the effect of VitD3tolDC in reducing the transmigration of allogeneic CD4+ T cells in an in vitro transwell assays.
  • Federico Fondelli, PhD, from IGTP team, presented his work entitled: ‘Targeting Aryl Hydrocarbon Receptor functionally restores tolerogenic dendritic cells differentiated from multiple sclerosis patients’
