EMSP is the umbrella organization for national Multiple Sclerosis (MS) organizations in Europe and has been the leading voice for people with MS for over 30 years. EMSP works with members, partners, and individuals with MS across the EU to influence policies that ensure equitable treatment, care, and resources for those affected by MS, promoting their inclusion in education, employment, and society.
EMSP has a network of 43 member MS Societies in 37 European countries representing over 1.2 million people living with MS across Europe. Collaborating with EMSP will enable IMMUTOL to interact with this extensive network.
EMSP is uniquely positioned to:
(i) identify impactful programmes for people with MS; (ii) enhance cooperation among European research and advocacy players; (iii) influence European health, social, and employment policies through evidence-based advocacy; (iv) support national MS societies in their advocacy efforts; and (v) build alliances with chronic disease and disability advocates.
As part of IMMUTOL, EMSP will bring the voice of people with MS into the project, ensuring their perspectives shape the research process.
With support from EMSP, IMMUTOL will engage with the patient community through workshops, consultations, webinars, and communication tools to keep people with MS informed and involved.
